Myriam St-Denis

Myriam St-Denis has a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Montreal. She specializes in built heritage and international cooperation. After studying the conservation of historic buildings at ETSAB in Spain, she carried out research on UNESCO’s World Heritage in Nicaragua, under the direction of Gérard Beaudet and Christina Cameron. At the Chair, she contributed to the World Heritage Oral Archives project. Myriam then carried out an internship with the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs in Guyana (South America) working on good governance and protection of the rights of indigenous peoples of the Americas. In 2012, she was selected as a Student Scholar (scholarship) by the Association for Preservation Technology International.
