Marie-Andrée Thiffault

Marie-Andrée holds a bachelor degree in Architecture from Université de Montréal. Her masters' dissertation, intitled «Vers une nouvelle définition du patrimoine : l’intégration du développement durable dans l’évaluation patrimoniale», dealt with sustainability and heritage evaluation criteria. As a research assistant with the Chair, Marie-Andrée collaborated on the Lighthouses of Quebec project and the Inventoy of professional magazines on Canadian approches to the conservation of built heritage from 1950 to 2000. On graduating from the Masters in Conservation, she was hired by Montreal architectural firm Fournier Gersovitz Moss Drolet and by the MRC of Île d'Orléans.
