Laure Émery

Laure holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-La Villette. She also obtained an undergraduate degree in art history  from Université de Paris X - Nanterre (Université Paris Ouest). Her research essay in the Masters of Conservation of the Built Environment at Université de Montréal consisted of an inventory of all the proprieties awarded a prize by the City of Montreal’s Opération patrimoine architectural (Montreal Architectural Heritage Campaign). This work was accomplished under the supervision of Claudine Déom and in collaboration with the City’s Heritage department. As a research assistant for the Chair, Laure visited, inventoried and documented the works of art in the Commission scolaire de Montréal’s schools built during the modern era. Upon completing her degreee, she worked as a consultant in heritage documentation and conservation.
