Inventory of professional magazines on Canadian approaches to the conservation of built heritage from 1950 to 2000

Carried out in 2008 and 2009, this project is part of the research theme on Canadian conservation practice in the 20th century. By examining Canadian periodicals dedicated to heritage, the project aims at extracting projects in conservation, restoration, rehabilitation, reconstruction and renovation that had an important impact on Canadian conservation theory and practice. The inventory of projects was conducted in the periodicals Heritage Canada, Continuité and the Bulletin of ICOMOS Canada. The research is presented in a report Recensement des projets canadiens pertinents pour le domaine de la conservation de l’environnement bâti.
