Heritage Study of the main campus of the Université de Montréal (2007-2008)

Université de Montréal campus

The research was part of the development process for a new master plan for the lands belonging to the university. It was carried out in three phases. The first aimed at documenting individual building and landscapes on the campus. The team then developed and applied new evaluation criteria for determining the heritage value of each individual component. The third and final phase assessed the heritage values for the campus as a whole. The final report was submitted in 2008. In 2010, the Presses de l’Université de Montréal published a revised version as a guide book entitled Le Campus - Le patrimoine architectural et paysager de l’Université de Montréal/The architectural and landscape heritage.
