Architect Julia Smith lectures on Willowbank School of Restoration Arts

Julian Smith, architect and Executive Director of the Willowbank School for Restoration Arts in Queenston, Ontario, presented a lecture on Willowbank: a new approach to architectural education, as part of the 9th Montreal Round Table organized by the Canada Research Chair on Built Heritage. He explained how this innovative private institution offers a seamless integration of academic and hands-on training in the heritage conservation field for young people wanting to connect past, present and future. The lecture took place at 5:00 PM in amphithéâtre 1120, Pavillon de la Faculté de l’aménagement, 2940, chemin de la Côte-Ste-Catherine, Université de Montréal.
